About this Service

Why am I being asked to log in?

Hallmark Channel Everywhere App is making some of your favorite Hallmark Channel movies and shows available on hallmarkchannel.com in partnership with participating television providers.  In order for you to watch these programs for free, the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App must verify your television subscription by having you log in with the username and password provided by your television provider.

How much does it cost me to watch these programs?

It is free.  As long as your television provider is participating and you receive Hallmark Channel from your television provider, you pay nothing extra to watch these shows and movies on your computer.

Where can I use this service?

From any computer with a high-speed Internet connection, or any iOS or Android device. See “Technical Requirements” below for specific computer system requirements.

If I have access to Hallmark Channel through my television provider, do I automatically have access to these shows and movies on hallmarkchannel.com or the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App?

This service is only available through participating television providers. If your television provider is not in our list, please check back soon as we update the list regularly.  You need a television subscription that includes Hallmark Channel from a participating television provider. Please contact your television provider to find out if they are participating in this offering.

 Do I need to use a credit card to sign up for this service?

No.  This service is free as part of your subscription that includes Hallmark Channel from one of our participating television providers. 

 I forgot my username and/or password. How do I get it?

You must contact your television provider to receive your login information.  Hallmark Channel does not have access to this information.  Only your television provider can provide your username and password.

Not all Hallmark Channel programs are available on this service.  If you don’t find the show or movie you are looking for, check back soon as we regularly update the programs.

Are the shows on this service closed captioned?

Yes, the movies and series can be watched with closed captions.

How do I use closed captioning?  

To activate closed captioning on the Hallmark Channel Everywhere website, mouse over the video while it’s playing and click on the “CC” button in the lower right corner of the video.  Select “English” and the closed captions will appear below the video.  Click the “CC” button again and select “off” to turn the closed captions off.

To activate closed captioning on the Hallmark Channel Everywhere app, tap the screen once, then tap the text box icon in the lower right of the screen. The status of the captions will be visible, either “off” or “on,” and tap the status to change it.

How can I access full episodes of Hallmark Channel content on my smart phone or tablet browser?

To access full episodes on our mobile devices, download the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App. This provides full episodes and is available in the Play Store and App Store for Android and iOS devices (respectively).

I am having trouble using the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App on my iPad, iPhone, or iPod

How do I get the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App?

To get started, open up the App Store on your device and search “Hallmark Channel Everywhere App ", or if you’re on your iOS device right now, click this link:

Once you’ve downloaded the app, you can start enjoying content right away if you have a participating cable or satellite TV provider. Just sign in with your username and password.

I am having trouble streaming using the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App.

If you’re having trouble using the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App on your iOS device (app crashing, videos not loading, etc.), we’d first like to make sure that there isn’t an issue with your internet connection. If there are other applications you use with your device, test them out. If the issue is exclusive to the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App, the first step would be to gather information about your internet connection.

Please visit (http://speedof.me ) on your web browser and click the "Start Test" button. Please let us know the results you receive for download speed, upload speed, and latency. We recommend a download speed of at least 2.0 megabytes per second (mbps) for a consistent stream with the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App.

If your speed is above our recommendation, first make sure your iOS software is fully up to date. If so, please power down your phone for about 30 seconds, then power it back on, and try streaming with the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App once again.

If you’re still having trouble, uninstall and reinstall the Hallmark Channel Everywhere App. To do so, press down on the app until it wiggles. An x button should appear on the top left corner of the app icon. Once you've uninstalled the app, go into the App Store and download Hallmark Channel Everywhere App once again.

Lastly, from the Home screen of your iOS device, click Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. When you have done that, log back in to your Wi-Fi network, and open the app once again. (If you’re on a cell phone carrier network, skip this step.)

When I try to watch a show, the video keeps stopping and starting. Why is this happening?

The video is likely buffering while playing because your Internet speed isn’t fast enough.  We recommend a minimum speed of 2Mbps. Also, in order to get the optimal experience, close all applications other than the web browser you’re using to access hallmarkchanneleverywhere.com.
